Baylor University

The Baylor University School of Music is seeking a one-year lecturer in music theory for the 2001-02 school year. There's a possibility of the position lasting for more than one year, as well. Phd or ABD is strongly preferred, as is some experience teaching theory at the college level. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, c.v., academic transcripts, and three letters of reference to:

James Bennighof
Chair, Theory Lecturer Search
School of Music, Box 97408
Baylor University
Waco, TX 76798-7408

Screening of applications will begin May 16, and continue until a candidate is selected for the position. Although materials are not needed before that date, it would be helpful if interested candidates would notify me of their interest immediately via e-mail (james_bennighof@baylor.edu) or after May 13 via phone (254-710-6500).
