The successful candidate will join a permanent staff of eight, and will be expected to have a particularly strong research profile. The post has been created specifically to enhance the research standing of the department in composition. Experience of working with digital music technology would be an adavatage, though not essential. The post is tenable from September 1995 or as soon as possible thereafter.
