GENERAL STATEMENT The University of Oregon School of Music is one of the oldest and most comprehensive music schools on the West Coast. As a synthesis of a conservatory (performance and Jazz Studies) and a department of music (composition, theory, musicology, ethno- musicology, and music education), the school offers a wide range of degrees, which include supporting areas at the doctoral level.
