Applied piano and strong expertise in secondary area like jazz studies, historical musicology, ethnomusicology, theory/composition. Earned doctorate required for tenure. Doctorate may be in area other than keyboard studies. Teaching experience required, preferably at college level. Salary dependent on qualifications. Job description: Recruit and maintain an applied studio and assists with department and university service. Coordinate applied piano program which includes therapy, education, performance and theory/comp keyboard majors.
