You folks are looking better all the time. With regard to Julie teaching in the proposed school, might it be possible for her to do that for perhaps two hours and then spend the rest of the day in her child counseling capacity? It may not be critical as long as you were available to do the teaching of the kids. We would need one of you plus a secular teacher to start the program off. Rabbi Segal is G'd willing planning on being in Yerushalayim this coming Sun, Mon and Tues, that is March 8,9,and 10 at the King Solomen Hotel. He asked that you call him there to arrange for a time for the two of you to meet. I will know for sure that he is going tomorrow as currently he tells me that he is on standby. I will e-mail you tomorrow on the status. When you meet with him try to give him as many right wing responses as you comfortably can.It would be nice to get their funding but it is not necessarily critical to the overall funding package. We have one other source available to us as well, and of course the shul has within itself the ability to raise most of your salary needs. With regard to the health insurance, the cost is between $215 and $232 for a married couple with no children per month. This covers both people. It is a basic HMO type of plan with a minimal out of pocket expense per office visit. I am not sure if it covers Chiropractic but tell Julie it would be my pleasure to take care of her gratis if there is no coverage. As the agreed upon salary rises from $45K it becomes harder for the shul to also cover health benifits but again this would depend on the success of the grant sources coming thru. Regarding the apartment, the shul currently is renting same at a cost of $1,000 per month. The apartment would be available if you folks like it but the shul would *not* cover the expense. A three bedroom and one bath house in the area rents for about $1550-1600, and rentals are fairly tight at this time so it's nice to have the apartment on standby. OK, so we will get cracking on the reference calls probably this Sun .I will e-mail you again tomorrow re R Segal. Regards Jacob
