Recomposition. A four-measure antecedent phrase in an implied parallel period. In my recomposition, Stravinsky’s anacrustic vocal line is adjusted to a more natural position in the ${}_8^3$ measure. The descending melodic tetrachord, D-C-B♭-A, is given its implied harmonic support, especially the concluding dominant.
