Institution: SUNY Fredonia Position: Assistant Professor General Information: The SUNY Fredonia School of Music seeks a specialist in Music Theory who is interested in serving the broad needs of a distinguished music school. This will be a tenure-track appointment beginning Fall, 2006. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a background in music theory scholarship and research and be capable of relating this work to the musical growth of our students. Doctorate preferred. Competent classroom keyboard skills required. Evidence of excellence in college teaching and scholarship is expected. Job Description/Responsibilities: The courses to be taught will range from core undergraduate courses to more specialized subjects at the graduate level.
