Institution: University of Colorado Boulder Position: Assistant Professor of Music Theory General Information: The College of Music of the University of Colorado Boulder seeks an Assistant Professor of Music Theory for a tenure-track appointment that will commence in August 2012. Qualifications: Evidence of excellence in scholarly / creative activities and teaching is required. A completed Ph.D. in music theory (or related field) by appointment date is desired; ABD is required. Candidates specializing in any area of music theory will be considered. We especially encourage applicants whose expertise complements that of our faculty. Job Description/Responsibilities: Research and publication, undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising graduate students, directing MM theory theses, service activities.
