Qualifications: Ph.D. in Music Theory or related field. Outstanding research potential. Evidence of scholarly activity and effective teaching at the college level required. Job Description/Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and serve on student graduate committees. Participate in teaching and coordination of core undergraduate theory and aural training courses. Pursue an active research agenda and provide service at the school, college, and university level.
