Institution: Baylor University Position: Lecturer General Information: Baylor University announces the position of Lecturer in Music Theory, a one-year position (annually renewable) that begins in August of 2006. Qualifications: Qualifications include a successful record of college teaching, a potential for scholarly contributions, and experience in music technology. A PhD in Music Theory is preferred, but ABDs will also be considered. Job Description/Responsibilities: This person will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in music theory and participating in the musical and academic life of the School of Music. Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with rank, qualifications, and experience.
