Institution: Randolph College Position: Visiting Instructor of Music General Information: Randolph College is accepting applications for a visiting instructor in music, a one-semester sabbatical replacement for Spring 2013. The search committee will begin reviewing applications on April 23, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled. The first day of classes for the spring semester is January 14, 2013. The committee welcomes applications from candidates holding or nearing completion of either a PhD or a DMA. Job Description/Responsibilities: Duties include teaching Theory II, Theory IV, Basic Elements of Music (music theory for non-majors), and the first semester in the ear training sequence. There is also the option to teach a semester of music appreciation for additional compensation.
