Institution: Western University Position: Assistant Professor General Information: The Department of Music Research and Composition, Don Wright Faculty of Music, Western University, invites applications for a Probationary (tenure-track) appointment in Music Theory at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2013. Qualifications: Applicants should have a completed PhD with specialization in music theory at the time of appointment. Job Description/Responsibilities: We seek an outstanding scholar who demonstrates promise of sustained research activity. Candidates must show a high level of skill in teaching and will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses (including large-enrolment courses) and graduate courses, as well as supervise students in the MA and PhD programs. Service is expected on Faculty and University committees.
