Institution: University of Pittsburgh Position: Lecturer in Music Theory General Information: Full-time, non-tenure stream Qualifications: Candidates will have received the PhD or DMA degree and demonstrated evidence of scholarly promise and excellence in teaching; interest in working with colleagues in the department and in related disciplines. Job Description/Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses and graduate seminars in music theory and analysis, 3 courses per semester; conduct research and publish; participate actively in the profession; share in departmental responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the composition/theory faculty. We are particularly interested in candidates whose interests complement those of current faculty, and who can work across sub-disciplines within the department and with colleagues elsewhere in the University.
