Institution: UNC Greensboro Position: Assistant Professor General Information: Position: Music Theory, Assistant Professor, Full-Time, Tenure-Track Date Of Appointment: August 1, 2014 Qualifications: Ph.D. in Music Theory or a related discipline; ABD considered. Applicants should have a successful record of university-level teaching experience and will be expected to engage in professional activities in their area of expertise. Job Description/Responsibilities: Teach a wide range of music theory courses to undergraduate and graduate music majors and minors, including the undergraduate theory and ear-training sequence as well as other courses as determined by the needs of the music theory area and the qualifications and interests of the candidate. The Department of Music Studies is part of the UNCG School of Music, Theatre and Dance (SMTD), created in 2010 by joining the three disciplines (http://performingarts.uncg.edu).
