Qualifications:

A completed doctorate is expected. However, ABD candidates will be considered. Candidates must have demonstrated successful classroom teaching experience.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

The School of Music, Brandon University, invites applications for a probationary tenure-track position in music theory. Duties will include the teaching of music theory and aural skills courses (primarily common practice period) in support of our core curriculum (both undergraduate and graduate), as well as the development of elective courses as appropriate. Research responsibilities will include successful development of a research program in an area of music theory. The position is subject to budget approval.
