Qualifications:

Evidence of excellence in teaching. Doctorate or terminal degree in music theory or related field required, college teaching experience preferred.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

teach the full spectrum of undergraduate music theory and aural skills, possibly including Form and Analysis, Counterpoint, 20th Century Music, Arranging/Orchestration, graduate courses and/or other courses according to expertise. Expectation for research and publication, professional activities and/or performance, department/university service, student recruitment/advisement.
