Institution: Florida State University College of Music

Position: Assistant Professor of Music Theory, tenure track

Qualifications:

Completed doctorate in music theory at time of appointment and university-level teaching experience are required. A record of scholarly publication and ongoing research is preferred.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Teach courses from among current undergraduate and graduate music theory offerings and/or in the candidate's area of expertise. Maintain an active agenda of research and publication in the field of music theory. Participate in activities related to the academic mission of the university, including service on committees, student advising, and administration of area exams.

Salary Range: Competitive.
