• Evidence of scholarly or creative potential
• Candidates specializing in any area of music theory
will be considered, but we especially encourage
applicants whose expertise complements that of our
faculty.
• Doctorate in music or ABD
- PhD/ABD in music theory, or commensurate
experience is preferred

Job Description/Responsibilities:

The University of Colorado Boulder College of Music seeks a skilled and dedicated Instructor of Music Theory for a three-year appointment beginning August 21, 2017. The appointment is renewable.

What your key responsibilities will be:
Instructional duties include:
• Undergraduate and graduate teaching
• Supervision of TAs
• Serving on graduate-student committees
• Service activities

Salary Range: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
