Institution: Eastern Kentucky University Position: Instructor of Music Theory General Information: Part-Time Faculty No Benefits Assigned Pay Qualifications: Minimum Educational Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of one degree in Music Theory from a regionally accredited institution Desired Qualifications: Degree in Music Theory. MM or PhD in Music Theory preferred. Significant college teaching experience in Music Theory may be taken into consideration in lieu of an advanced degree in Music Theory. Job Description/Responsibilities: The School of Music at Eastern Kentucky University invites applicants to apply for a Part-time position as Instructor of Music Theory beginning August 2017. The position involves teaching lower-division music theory and aural skills courses. The candidate will be expected to coordinate instruction with the other theory faculty, maintain appropriate office hours and provide tutoring for music students as assigned. Other duties may be assigned consistent with the applicant\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s skills.
