MM/MA in Music Theory or Music Theory Pedagogy

Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Music Theory preferred, ABD considered. Applicants should have a successful record of university-level teaching experience and are expected to be engaged in professional activities in their area of expertise.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

The UNCG School of Music seeks a Music Theory Lecturer for a two-year, non-tenure-track appointment; renewable, as per needs of the School of Music. The Music Theory Lecturer will teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate music theory courses, including the undergraduate theory and ear-training sequence as well as other courses as determined by the needs of the School of Music and the qualifications and interests of the candidate.

Salary Range: $45,000
