Institution: Peabody Conservatory Position: Assistant Professor of Music Theory - Ear Training General Information: Beginning July 1, 2020 Qualifications: A doctorate (preferred) Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level (required) An active profile of scholarship and/or artistic activities (required) Job Description/Responsibilities: The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University seeks a passionate educator and an extraordinary musician to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Music Theory beginning July 1, 2020. The appointed faculty member will be a member of Peabody’s Department of Music Theory, Ear Training, and Keyboard Skills. Familiarity with a range of pedagogical approaches is required.
