Institution: Peabody Conservatory Position: Assistant Professor of Music Theory General Information: Beginning July 1, 2020 Qualifications: A doctorate (preferred), and Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level (required), and An active profile of scholarship and/or artistic activities (required) Job Description/Responsibilities: The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University seeks a passionate educator and an extraordinary musician to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Music Theory beginning July 1, 2020. Peabody’s Music Theory Department complements the teaching of our applied faculty, giving our students a deeper understanding of music through the exploration of compositional styles and techniques.
