Institution: Vanderbilt University, Blair School of Music Position: Commensurate with qualifications and experience General Information: Fall, 2007 and Spring, 2008 Qualifications: The candidate must possess strong teaching skills, with successful teaching at the college level preferred. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a master’s degree in music theory or related field. Job Description/Responsibilities: Full-time one-year position in core undergraduate music theory. Duties include teaching three sections per semester of freshman and/or sophomore written theory, as assigned. Candidate will be expected to coordinate with existing syllabus and with faculty teaching other sections. Position includes full benefits package and assistance from paper graders.
